Dr. Hala Maher Sayed Ahmed

Dr. Hala Maher Sayed Ahmed is a specialist radiologist with 15 years of experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. She holds a medical degree from Cairo University (2005) and has completed advanced training including a Master's degree in Radiodiagnosis and Intervention from Ain Shams University and fellowships in breast imaging from Spain and Ohio. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Al-Azhar University focused on PET-CT in breast cancer management.

For the past 12 years, Dr. Ahmed has concentrated on breast and female imaging, delivering mammography screening and diagnosis, ultrasound with advanced elastography techniques, MRI breast scans, and image-guided biopsies using multiple approaches (ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, MRI-guided, and vacuum-assisted). She also provides neonatal and pediatric ultrasound, pelvic imaging, fetal scans including 3D/4D anomaly assessment, and general CT and MRI interpretation across the body. Her work has included positions at the Ministry of Health, specialized breast centres, and most recently the Breast Unit at NMC Royal Hospital.
