Dr. Afraa Alyoussef

Dr. Afraa Alyousef is an experienced obstetrics and gynaecology specialist with over 13 years in women's health. She qualified from the University of Syria and holds board certifications from both the Arab Board and Syrian Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Since moving to the UAE in 2017, she has worked at leading hospitals including five years at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, where she has provided comprehensive women's healthcare.

Dr. Alyousef's clinical focus centres on high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labour and delivery, and postpartum support. She also manages fertility assessments, family planning, and performs obstetric and gynaecological surgeries. Her training includes experience at a tertiary centre in Damascus and a governmental family planning clinic, giving her broad exposure across public and private settings.

She has furthered her expertise with diplomas in fertility management and aesthetic gynaecology from the American Association of Aesthetic Gynaecology.
