Dr. Dean Park

Dr. Dean Park is a Staff Physician in the Medical Oncology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Cancer Institute. He brings 23 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology, having previously served as a Staff Physician at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he led the Thoracic Malignancies team and the Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary Malignancies team. He also held the rank of Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences during his time there.

Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Park worked as an Attending Physician in hematology and oncology at South Bend Clinic in Indiana, where he was concurrently an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. He treats a broad range of cancers including gastric, pancreatic, bile duct, anal, bladder, head and neck, skin, and thoracic cancers, as well as blood disorders. Dr. Park was recognized as a Master Clinician by Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and has received multiple teaching awards from physicians in training.

Dr. Park completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia, followed by residency training at the University of Chicago and fellowship in hematology and oncology at Vanderbilt University. He is a thoughtful clinician who balances his professional expertise with family life in Abu Dhabi.
