Dr. Hala Mostafa Kamel Imam

Dr. Hala Mostafa Kamel Imam is a specialist in internal medicine with over a decade of clinical experience. She graduated from Assiut University in Egypt, where she also completed her master's and doctoral degrees in internal medicine. Her training includes a residency in internal medicine and a clinical fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and gastrointestinal endoscopy at Assiut University Hospital, followed by a three-year gastrointestinal research residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, United States. She has also served as a visiting physician at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and holds ECFMG certification.

Dr. Hala's clinical expertise spans the full breadth of internal medicine, with particular focus on gastrointestinal and liver diseases, diabetes and its complications, thyroid and endocrine disorders, infectious diseases, kidney disease, rheumatology, and blood disorders. She has presented her research at international conferences and authored numerous peer-reviewed papers. Prior to joining Burjeel, she held the position of Consultant and Professor of Internal Medicine at Assiut University Hospital, where she managed both inpatient and outpatient care while teaching and supervising medical students and postgraduate trainees.
