Dr. Riad Mounayer

Dr. Riad Mounayer is a European-trained otolaryngologist with over 40 years of clinical experience. He trained at the prestigious Portmann Foundation in Bordeaux during a three-year residency and holds an MD from the University of Damascus alongside specialist qualifications in otorhinolaryngology from the University of Bordeaux. He has managed more than 100,000 patients and performed over 20,000 ENT surgeries throughout his career.

Dr. Mounayer treats the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat conditions, from hearing loss and balance problems to sinus disease and voice disorders. He performs a wide range of procedures including tonsil and adenoid removal, septoplasty (to straighten a deviated septum), rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, and grommet insertion for ear fluid. His particular interests include chronic ear infections, vertigo, allergic rhinitis, and sleep-related breathing problems.

He is an active member of several leading professional societies including the French Society of Otorhinolaryngology, the Portmann Foundation, and the Rhinology Society. His practice is tailored to individual patient needs, and he brings extensive international expertise to his work at King's College Hospital London (Dubai).
