Dr. Amrith Raj Rao is a UK and European Board-Certified Consultant Urologist with over 25 years of surgical experience. He is recognised as one of the most experienced urologists in Dubai, with extensive expertise in managing both male and female urological conditions. He completed comprehensive urology training within the London Deanery in the United Kingdom at several leading institutions, and earned his medical degree from JJM Medical College in India, where he was awarded the Gold Medal in Surgery.

Dr. Rao is fellowship-trained in Robotic Surgery and Uro-Oncology, and is a pioneer in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures for urologic cancers. He has performed the highest number of robotic surgeries in Dubai and is widely regarded as one of the foremost robotic urologists in the region. His clinical expertise is complemented by a strong academic background; he has presented his work at international conferences across Europe, the USA, India, and the Middle East, published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and contributed to academic textbooks in urology.
