About Dr. Jasim
Dr. Adel Waheeb Jasim is a Consultant Paediatrician at Burjeel Medical Center Saadiyat with over 25 years of clinical experience in children's medicine. He trained at Baghdad Medical College, obtaining his medical degree in 1990, and completed specialist paediatric training through the Iraqi Board (FICMS) in 1998 and Arab Board certification in 1999. He has pursued advanced training in paediatric nutrition at Boston University School of Medicine and paediatric education programs in Dublin, Ireland.
Dr. Adel's expertise spans neonatology (newborn and infant care), paediatric allergies and immunology, developmental paediatrics, and nutrition in children. He regularly diagnoses and manages asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, speech delays, growth and puberty concerns, and developmental disorders. He is also experienced in paediatric vaccinations and takes a comprehensive, child-centred approach to each patient.
He is an active member of the Iraqi Arab Society of Paediatrics and leads the Elite Paediatric Group in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Adel is fluent in English and Arabic, making him accessible to diverse families seeking specialist care for their children.
