Dr. Menatallah Shaher Ahmed Tawfik

Dr. Menatallah Shaher is a breast imaging and breast intervention radiologist with 19 years of clinical experience. She has performed over 120,000 breast procedures, including more than 50,000 screening mammograms. She completed her MD PhD in Radiodiagnosis and Intervention from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and undertook hands-on training in breast intervention procedures across Europe—Austria, Holland, Spain, Belgium, and Germany. Most recently, she completed an advanced breast CT workshop at Leiden University in the Netherlands in June 2023.

Dr. Shaher offers a comprehensive range of breast imaging and intervention services. Her imaging expertise includes screening and diagnostic mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography), contrast-enhanced mammography, advanced ultrasound with elastography, breast MRI, and breast CT. For interventional procedures, she performs biopsies (fine-needle, core-needle, and vacuum-assisted), tissue excision, cryoablation (freezing lesions), and sentinel lymph node sampling—most guided by ultrasound, mammography, MRI, or contrast-enhanced imaging.

Dr. Shaher is an active member of the European Society of Breast Imaging and co-founder of the Emirates Breast Imaging Club, reflecting her commitment to advancing breast care in the region. She is a good fit for patients needing detailed breast imaging workup, diagnostic procedures, or minimally invasive biopsies performed under image guidance.
