Dr. Ahmed Ebied

Dr. Ahmed Ebied is a Consultant Neurologist at Medcare Hospital Sharjah and Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital in Al Qusais, with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He trained at Zagazig University in Egypt, where he earned his medical degree, Master's in Neuropsychiatry (focused on stroke), and MD in Neurology (focused on epilepsy). He is a Fellow of the European Board of Neurology and holds a Headache Specialty Certificate from the World Headache Society.

Dr. Ebied manages a wide range of neurological conditions across the lifespan. His expertise includes epilepsy and seizures, stroke (ischemic and hemorrhagic), headache and migraine (including Botox treatment for chronic migraine), movement disorders like Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, memory problems including Alzheimer's disease, nerve and muscle disorders, and acute neurological emergencies. He is skilled in clinical neurophysiology and neurocritical care, and also treats neuropsychiatric conditions.

He previously worked as a consultant neurologist at Saudi German Hospitals Group in Jeddah and Sharjah, and served as a lecturer and faculty member at Zagazig University's Department of Neurology, as well as a consultant neurologist under Egypt's Ministry of Health. Dr. Ebied is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Emirates Neurology Society, Egyptian Society of Neurology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery, Egyptian Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and serves as a board member of the World Headache Society.
