Dr. Feras Jaalouk

Dr. Feras Jaalouk is a consultant ophthalmologist with extensive experience in retina and cataract surgery. He began his training in the UK in 2001 and relocated to the UAE in 2018, bringing nearly two decades of specialist experience. He has held positions as a locum consultant retina surgeon at Imperial College NHS Trust London and as a medical and surgical retina specialist at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital NHS Trust UK, where he completed fellowships in both retina surgery and cataract surgery.

Dr. Jaalouk specializes in diagnosing and treating diabetic eye disease, including diabetic retinopathy using injections, laser, or surgery. He performs advanced retina procedures such as small-gauge (25G or 27G) sutureless vitrectomy for retinal detachment, vitreous haemorrhage, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. He also handles complex cataract surgeries, ocular trauma (globe rupture, foreign bodies), age-related macular degeneration, and minor eyelid procedures. For refractive errors, he offers implantable contact lenses (ICLs) and premium lens exchange.

Dr. Jaalouk has been actively involved in training junior surgeons and is well-suited for patients requiring specialist retina care, complex cataract management, or treatment of diabetic eye complications.
