Dr. Taqi Zaidi

Dr Taqi Zaidi is a British-trained family medicine consultant at Mediclinic Springs with over 17 years of clinical experience in the UK. Before specialising in family medicine, he trained extensively in paediatric surgery and paediatric urology, working at leading children's hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Alder Hey Children's Hospital, and Birmingham Children's Hospital. He completed his family medicine training in Manchester and is fully licensed to practise in Dubai with the Health Authority.

Dr Zaidi manages the full breadth of family medicine: chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and COPD; acute eye, ear, nose and throat problems; respiratory, heart and stomach complaints; urinary and skin issues; and musculoskeletal and mental health concerns. He also handles minor surgical procedures for both adults and children—wound care, removal of lumps, cysts and abscesses—and specialises in children's health including bed-wetting, women's and men's health, contraception, and smoking cessation.

He is published widely in peer-reviewed medical journals and regularly presents research at international scientific meetings. Dr Zaidi is happy to see patients of all ages and believes in caring for the whole family—a core principle of family medicine.
