Dr. Shahzad Shah

Dr Shahzad Shah is a UK-trained Consultant Urologist with nearly two decades of experience in diagnosing and treating both benign and malignant urological conditions. He trained at leading NHS hospitals in Southeast London, including Guy's & St Thomas's and Medway Maritime, before completing a fellowship in female and functional urology and men's health at St James Teaching Hospitals in Leeds. He went on to hold consultant posts at Southend University Hospitals and West Herts Teaching Hospitals, where he led the Urology Core functional and female urology unit and served as departmental lead for governance and risk.

Dr Shah specialises in disorders affecting how the bladder and urinary system function, including urinary urgency, leakage, and obstruction. He is highly skilled in urodynamics—specialised pressure studies that help diagnose bladder problems—and in minimally invasive treatments for prostate-related issues.
