Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma

Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma is a Consultant Urologist with over 30 years of clinical experience in managing the full range of urological conditions. He completed his MBBS in the early 1990s, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Jiwaji University in India, and an M.Ch. in Urology specializing in minimally invasive techniques. His career has spanned some of India's leading medical institutions—GR Medical College Gwalior, Christian Medical College Vellore, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi—before joining NMC Healthcare in the UAE.

Dr. Sharma specializes in the surgical treatment of kidney stones using advanced keyhole techniques (PCNL, RIRS, laser lithotripsy, and ureteroscopy), urological cancers, laparoscopic surgery, and procedures including TURP and bladder tumour removal (TURBT). He also has particular expertise in male infertility and erectile dysfunction. His approach combines precision with a broad experience of managing both straightforward and complex cases across diverse patient populations.

He is an active member of the Urological Society of India, American Urological Association, and Arab Urological Association, and has contributed to the field through research presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
