Dr. Suprabha Prabhakaran

Dr. Suprabha Prabhakaran is a Specialist Ophthalmologist with over 11 years of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) in 2010 and earned her Master's in Ophthalmology from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2015. She further specialized with a Fellowship in Glaucoma from L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad in 2019, one of India's leading eye centers.

Dr. Suprabha has built her career treating a wide range of eye conditions across multiple hospitals. She began at BJ Government Medical College in Pune in 2012, then worked in government hospitals across Mumbai, followed by specialist glaucoma training and independent consultant roles at L V Prasad Eye Institute's tertiary care center in Andhra Pradesh. Before relocating to the UAE in 2023, she practiced at hospitals across Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. She now brings this extensive experience to NMC Healthcare in Sharjah, having previously worked with a leading healthcare group in Dubai.

She specializes in glaucoma management—a condition where increased eye pressure damages the optic nerve—as well as cataract surgery. Her background across government and private sector settings means she has experience managing diverse patient populations and complex cases.
