Dr. Shameer Ali Thazathe Peadikakkal

Dr. Shameer Ali is an orthopaedic surgeon with 17 years of experience managing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. He trained at Government Medical College in Calicut (medical degree) and Aurangabad (orthopaedic specialization) in India, and has completed advanced fellowships in spine surgery, shoulder arthroscopy, and minimally invasive techniques. He currently practises at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, where he brings a patient-focused approach to complex bone and joint problems.

Dr. Shameer specializes in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the knee and shoulder, microscopic spine surgery, and acute trauma of the upper and lower limbs. He is experienced in knee replacement, spine procedures, and fracture management. His training includes the AO Trauma Masters Course—a rigorous international program in fracture treatment—and certification as a minimally invasive spine surgeon, allowing him to offer less-invasive options for spinal conditions.
