Dr. Ed Ashtar

Dr Ed Ashtar is a consultant medical oncologist and clinical hematologist with over 20 years of experience in cancer care and blood disorders. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he earned the Outstanding Resident Performance award, and served as Chief of Fellows at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He holds triple American Board Certification and is recognized as a leading oncology specialist in Dubai, where he now practices.

Dr Ashtar provides comprehensive cancer care using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy for solid tumors across all major organ systems, including breast, lung, gastrointestinal, pancreatic, liver, thyroid, head and neck, gynecological, urological, and skin cancers, as well as sarcomas and neuroendocrine tumors. In clinical hematology, he diagnoses and treats the full spectrum of blood disorders: all types of leukemia (acute and chronic), lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, bleeding and clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia, and anemia.

Dr Ashtar has led clinical trials and research projects in oncology and was recognized by the ASCO foundation for his research contributions.
