Dr. Roger Moukarbel

Dr. Roger Moukarbel is Chief of ENT Surgery at American Hospital Dubai and a Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He is triple fellowship-trained in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Facial Plastic Surgery, with advanced training from the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario in Canada. He previously served as Head of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai and as faculty at the American University of Beirut Medical Center.

Dr. Moukarbel specializes in surgical treatment of head and neck cancers, including tongue and throat cancers, as well as reconstruction of facial defects and cosmetic procedures. His expertise spans thyroid and salivary gland surgery, removal of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck region, and surgical repair of facial paralysis. He is dual board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and brings experience in complex microsurgical reconstruction.

He is well-suited for patients requiring specialized cancer surgery in the head and neck region, complex facial reconstruction following injury or cancer removal, or cosmetic facial procedures. Dr. Moukarbel is actively involved in academic medicine and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, regularly presenting at national and international conferences.
