Dr. Shiby John

Dr. Shiby John is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with over 15 years of clinical, academic, and research experience across India and internationally. He holds MBBS, MS (Orthopaedics), DNB (Orthopaedics), MRCS (Edinburgh), and MCh in Orthopaedics from USAIM, along with specialized fellowships in joint replacement and arthroscopy & sports medicine. He has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at leading hospitals including MGM Muthoot Medical Centre in Kerala, and brings significant teaching experience from his role as Senior Lecturer at Pushpagiri Medical College.

Dr. Shiby's clinical focus encompasses hip and knee joint replacement surgery, complex reconstructive procedures, and minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for sports injuries and joint disorders. He also manages complex fractures involving the knee and upper leg bones. His practice combines surgical expertise with an active involvement in postgraduate training, research, and academic contributions through multiple publications and conference presentations.

He is a Life Member of major professional bodies including the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroscopic Society, Indian Medical Association, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Shiby is particularly committed to advancing orthopaedic surgical practice through education and research, with a strong focus on joint replacement, minimally invasive techniques, and sports-related orthopaedic care.
