Dr. Jazina Nazeer Sayed Mohamed

Ms Jazina Nazeer Sayed Mohamed is a Consultant Audiologist at Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah, with 13 years of clinical and teaching experience across India and the UAE. She holds a Master's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and a Diploma in Vestibular Rehabilitation, combining specialist training with broad expertise in hearing and balance disorders across all age groups.

Ms Mohamed specialises in clinical audiology, paediatric hearing assessment, vestibular (balance) assessment and rehabilitation, and auditory electrophysiology (nerve conduction testing for hearing). She has worked at leading institutions including MERF Chennai and KMC Hospital in Mangalore, India, and previously practised at Prime Healthcare Group in Dubai, giving her extensive experience with both adult and child patients.

Her research interests focus on how infants encode speech sounds and how multilingual children process language and hearing—particularly relevant for families with diverse language backgrounds. She is fluent in five languages and holds lifetime membership of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association, reflecting her commitment to advancing hearing health through clinical practice and evidence-based care.
