Dr. Nadia Gillion

Dr Nadia Gillion is a physiotherapist with a Master's degree in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the University of Stellenbosch. She graduated with her initial physiotherapy qualification from the University of Western Cape in 2004 and has built a career spanning both public and private healthcare sectors in South Africa. Her experience includes working with premier league football teams at first and second division levels, as well as lecturing in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Nadia treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, with particular expertise in lower limb problems. She specializes in helping patients recover after orthopedic surgery—including ACL reconstruction, meniscectomy (knee cartilage removal), ankle ligament repairs, and hip or knee replacement. Her postgraduate training includes advanced techniques such as dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and Mulligan techniques.

She offers Pilates and reformer Pilates as part of rehabilitation and injury prevention. Nadia is a good fit if you need rehabilitation after joint surgery, treatment for sports injuries, or want to prevent lower limb injuries through specialized physiotherapy.
