Dr. Omar Hallak

Dr. Omar Kamel Hallak is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at King's College Hospital London in Dubai, with over 20 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine. He is American Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Vascular Medicine, Endovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. His career has spanned leading academic and clinical roles across the United States and the Gulf region, including Clinical Professor at Baylor University in Texas, Head of Cardiology at Saint Francis Hospital in Virginia, and Chief Interventional Cardiologist at American Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Hallak's expertise encompasses a broad range of heart and vessel procedures: cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions (minimally invasive treatments using catheters), pacemaker implantation, and advanced therapies for irregular heartbeats (ICD and CRT devices). He has performed thousands of procedures throughout his career. He also has experience in nuclear cardiology (imaging tests of heart function), cardiac electrophysiology (heart rhythm disorders), and additional training in gastroenterology and hepatology. His postgraduate training was completed at respected institutions including the University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, and Louisiana State University.

Dr. Hallak is deeply engaged in advancing cardiovascular care regionally and internationally. He has served as President of the Gulf Chapter of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists and as Chairman of the 4TS International Conference.
