Dr. Wissam Al Massadeh

Mr. Wissam Al Massadeh is a psychologist at Medcare Camali Clinic in Jumeirah with 5 years of experience. He holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan, complemented by undergraduate degrees in Philosophy, Theology, and Developmental and Educational Sciences from universities in Rome. He is currently advancing his expertise through studies in Sensory Integration at Sheffield Hallam University.

Mr. Al Massadeh treats a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, burnout, and trauma. He employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Beyond these core areas, he also supports patients working through learning difficulties, intellectual disability, emotion regulation challenges, and problem-solving skills, and has experience working with gifted individuals.

He began his career with Jordan's Ministry of Social Development, where he worked on juvenile care and orphan support projects, before joining Wellbees (an employee wellbeing company) as an expert psychologist. Mr. Al Massadeh is an active member of several professional bodies including the American Psychological Association and British Psychological Society, and contributes to mental health awareness through educational content creation.
