Dr. Tawfik Mohamed

Dr. Tawfik Mohamed is a paediatric intensivist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, bringing two decades of experience managing critically ill children. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and has completed specialist training including the European Paediatric Intensive Care Diploma (EPIC) and the Arab Board qualification in Paediatrics, plus an Egyptian Paediatric Fellowship.

Dr. Mohamed specialises in managing complex paediatric critical cases in the PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit). He has worked across multiple healthcare systems, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, Kuwait's Ministry of Health, and Egypt, gaining broad experience in stabilising and treating seriously ill children. He is licensed as a Paediatric Consultant by both the UAE Department of Health and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

He is a member of the Critical Society of Abu Dhabi and was recognised as part of the PICU Golden Team in 2021. Dr. Mohamed is a good fit if your child requires expert intensive care, whether after major surgery, for severe infections, respiratory failure, or other life-threatening conditions.
