Dr. Samina Mahfuz Rahman

Dr. Samina Mahfuz Rahman is a Canadian board-certified consultant in family medicine at American Hospital Dubai, bringing 17 years of clinical experience across Canada, Qatar, and the UAE. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Manitoba and earned her certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2008, followed by fellowship status in 2019. Her international background has given her broad expertise in primary and specialized care for patients across all ages.

Dr. Rahman manages a wide range of acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, asthma, respiratory infections, skin disorders, allergies, and thyroid problems. She also provides women's health services, including gynecological and breast health care, and performs minor surgical procedures in the clinic. She is particularly passionate about preventive medicine and patient education, conducting periodic health screenings and helping patients manage chronic diseases like obesity, COPD, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
