Dr. Anjana Asokan Nair

Dr. Anjana Nair is a consultant cardiologist at NMC Healthcare in Dubai with over 20 years of clinical experience in cardiology. She graduated with an MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, completed her MD in Medicine from Indira Gandhi Medical College and Mayo Hospital in 1995, and went on to earn her DM (Doctor of Medicine) in cardiology from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. Her specialist training focused on heart conditions, with research interests in infective endocarditis (a serious heart infection) and coronary artery disease patterns in women.

Dr. Nair has extensive hands-on experience managing critically ill cardiac patients in intensive care units, as well as performing diagnostic tests including stress testing, Holter monitoring (24-hour heart rhythm recording), echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart), and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Before joining NMC Healthcare, she worked at the Middle East Medical Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing both South Asian and Middle Eastern clinical experience to her practice.
