Dr. Salaheldin Khalil Issa

Dr. Salaheldin Khalil Issa is a Consultant in Nephrology and Internal Medicine with over 36 years of clinical experience in kidney disease and dialysis care. He trained at Alexandria University, Egypt, where he earned his MBBS in 1987 and a Diploma in Internal Medicine in 1992. He holds an MRCP(UK) in General Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians, London (2007), and a Specialty Certificate in Nephrology (2011). Since 2020, he has been based at SEHA Kidney Care in Abu Dhabi, where he leads specialized nephrology programs.

Dr. Issa's clinical focus spans acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease related to diabetes, inherited kidney disorders, and all forms of dialysis treatment. He specializes in haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplant nephrology, and the management of electrolyte imbalances. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles at major kidney care facilities, including SEHA Dialysis - Madinet Zayed (2004–2020), the Ministry of Health in Oman (1995–2004), and Almoasat Hospital in Alexandria (1993–1995), where he developed expertise in both acute and chronic kidney disease.
