Dr. Mohamad Azzam Ziade

Dr. Mohamad Azzam Ziade is a Consultant in Medical Oncology at Medcare Sharjah with over two decades of experience in hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. He trained in Italy, the UK, and across Europe, completing specialized qualifications in medical oncology and bone marrow transplantation, along with board certification in Switzerland. He has worked at leading hospitals in Lebanon, Italy, the UK, and the UAE, including Al Zahra, Burjeel, and Royal NMC hospitals.

Dr. Ziade treats a wide range of blood disorders and cancers, including thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, and solid tumors such as breast, ovarian, colon, and lung cancer. He uses both conventional treatments—chemotherapy and immunotherapy—and intensive approaches including bone marrow transplantation. He is actively involved in clinical research, collaborating with international study groups on lymphoma and publishing peer-reviewed articles on breast, colorectal, and lung cancers.
