Dr. Biju Pankappilly

Dr. Biju Pankappilly is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with 23 years of experience, based at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, as well as joint replacement and sports injury treatment. His training includes a shoulder fellowship at Clinique De L'Union in Toulouse, France, advanced shoulder training at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, and an arthroscopy and joint replacement fellowship at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, India.

Dr. Biju focuses on complex shoulder and knee pathologies using arthroscopic (keyhole) techniques to reduce recovery time.
