Dr. Gertruda Dyla

Dr. Gertruda Dyla is a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai. She holds an MBBS from the University of Prishtina in Kosovo and the Medical Board of Munich, Germany, plus a Master's degree in Cardiology from the University of Prishtina. She trained as a Specialist in Internal Medicine in both Kosovo and Friedberg, Germany, and has completed advanced courses in heart electrical activity (electrocardiography) and advanced heart imaging (transesophageal echocardiography). She is currently pursuing formal certification in cardiology from Germany.

Dr. Dyla has built a 25-year career across Europe and the UAE, working at leading cardiac centres in Germany including Kardio Bremerhaven, Kardio Bremen, and Asklepios Klinik Munich. She specialises in cardiac consultation and non-invasive heart investigations. She is skilled at reading heart electrical traces (ECG), 24-hour heart rhythm monitoring (Holter monitoring), 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, exercise stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and ultrasound of the carotid and leg arteries and veins. She also manages cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronisation therapy devices from major manufacturers.

Before joining Medcare, Dr. Dyla was a Consultant and Academic Supervisor at the Saudi German Hospital in Dubai, where she trained medical students and trainee doctors in internal medicine and cardiology. She is a Fellow of the Salzburg Cardiology Workshop, a member of the German Association for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and an EU Certified Trainer in General Management. She is an excellent fit for patients needing cardiac assessment, heart rhythm monitoring, or general internal medicine care.
