Dr. Anwar Rasheed Ahmed

Dr. Anwar Ahmed is a specialist urologist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He trained in Iraq and holds fellowships from both the Iraqi and Arab urology boards. After working in several major teaching hospitals in Iraq, he relocated to the UAE over a decade ago, where he has been based in Abu Dhabi at Burjeel.

Dr. Ahmed provides comprehensive urological care across adult patients, including minimally invasive stone surgery, prostate procedures, and management of fertility issues in men. He treats urinary incontinence in both men and women, urological cancers, and urological trauma such as testicular torsion and penile injuries. He also performs reconstructive urology surgery for conditions like hypospadias and ureteral reimplantation, as well as open surgical procedures when required.

He is experienced in managing men's sexual health and dysfunction, and is available for all urological emergencies. His background across multiple tertiary centres gives him broad exposure to complex cases.
