About Dr. Sameer Kallaroth
Dr. Sameer Kallaroth is a Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician trained in the United Kingdom with over 13 years of clinical experience. He is now based at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he cares for newborns and children. Before moving to the UAE, he worked at leading children's hospitals in the UK as a Consultant in both neonatology and general paediatrics.
Dr. Kallaroth specialises in the care of newborns from 23 weeks gestation onwards, managing critically ill infants in the neonatal unit. He treats oxygen-dependent infants and those with neurodevelopmental concerns, and provides counselling to expectant parents with pregnancy complications. He also manages common childhood problems, assesses growth and development, and administers vaccinations. His clinical work includes stabilising and managing seriously unwell children.
Dr. Kallaroth has substantial experience in teaching and supervising trainee paediatricians and medical students, reflecting his commitment to medical education alongside clinical practice. He speaks English and Malayalam.
