Dr Muhammed Khalid Naseen Chishti is a consultant brain and spine surgeon with more than 35 years of experience across Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the UAE. He completed his medical degree from Dow Medical University in Karachi before moving to the UK in 1982, where he trained in general surgery and neurosurgery at leading institutions including the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and Glasgow. He completed specialist training in both adult and paediatric neurosurgery at North Manchester General Hospital and Booth Hall Children's Hospital, obtaining his Intercollegiate Neurosurgery fellowship in 1989.
Dr. Chishti spent 17 years as Head of Department of Neurosurgery and Senior Clinical Professor at Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan, one of the country's major tertiary centres. During this time he developed expertise in complex brain and spinal cases, attracting referrals from across the country. In 2008 he joined Al Rashid Hospital in Dubai, a major trauma centre in the Gulf region, where he gained extensive experience managing acute brain trauma and neurosurgical emergencies over five years before moving to King's College Hospital London Dubai.
He treats a broad range of conditions from brain tumours and aneurysms to spinal trauma and degenerative disc disease, using both open and minimally invasive techniques including endoscopic surgery. Dr. Chishti is one of the few Pakistani neurosurgeons practising in the UAE and brings a wealth of experience managing complex cases in both adult and paediatric patients.
