Dr. Madhu George

Dr. Madhu George is a neonatologist with 18 years of experience caring for newborns in intensive care settings. He trained at Kottayam Medical College in Kerala for his medical degree, then completed an MD in Pediatrics at MKCG Medical College in Odisha. He holds postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK (MRCPCH in 2013 and FRCPCH in 2024) and completed specialized neonatology fellowships at the Royal College, UK and McMaster University in Canada, where he was recognized as the Best Outgoing Fellow.

Dr. George has held senior positions across the Middle East and India, including serving as Head of Neonatology at Rajagiri Hospital in Kerala from 2014 to 2022, where he also directed the neonatology fellowship program. He has extensive expertise in managing extremely premature babies born before 28 weeks or weighing under 1000 grams, using advanced techniques such as mechanical ventilation, non-invasive respiratory support, central lines, and specialized feeding methods. He is an instructor in newborn resuscitation for both the Canadian Pediatric Society and the Neonatal Network of India.
