Dr. Lamiaa Raafat Elsayed Abdelghany

Dr. Lamiaa Raafat Elsayed Abdelghany is a dedicated breast imaging radiologist at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, with 14 years of clinical experience. She has worked across Saudi Arabia and Egypt, building broad expertise in all aspects of breast imaging and diagnosis.

Dr. Abdelghany specializes in breast cancer screening and diagnosis using the full range of modern imaging techniques. She performs 2D and 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, contrast-enhanced mammography, automated breast ultrasound (ABUS), breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures (such as biopsies and localizations). She is particularly passionate about early detection of breast cancer and combining technical expertise with compassionate patient care.

She is well-qualified in her field, holding a Women's Imaging Fellowship and the European Diploma in Breast Imaging (EDBI). She is an active member of the European Society of Breast Imaging and the Egyptian Society of Breast Imaging, keeping current with advances in the specialty.
