Dr. Elizabeth Ruth Choudhry is a senior podiatrist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She qualified in the United Kingdom in 1992 and worked for the UK National Health Service for more than 20 years before relocating to Abu Dhabi. She holds a master's degree in advanced practice, which she completed to develop specialized expertise in lower limb vascular assessment and surgical debridement techniques that help prevent amputation.

Dr. Choudhry specializes in the assessment, treatment, and management of high-risk feet, with a particular focus on diabetic foot disease. She has established several multidisciplinary diabetic foot teams and clinics that have demonstrably reduced lower limb amputations and improved outcomes for people living with foot complications from diabetes. Her clinical approach combines vascular assessment, wound care, and gait analysis to provide comprehensive foot health management.
