Dr. Huda Kadhim Radhi

Dr Huda Kadhim Radhi is a consultant ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience in eye care, including extensive practice in the UK. She is board certified in ophthalmology, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and holds certification from Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She practises at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi.

Since 1999, Dr Huda has specialised in corneal refractive surgery and has performed thousands of procedures including LASIK (laser vision correction), PRK, INTRALASIK, and corneal crosslinking. She has broad experience with cataracts, glaucoma (high eye pressure), uveitis (eye inflammation), pterygium (tissue growths on the eye), and squint (eye misalignment). She also manages posterior segment conditions including diabetic eye disease, retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration, and central serous retinopathy. She pioneered corneal crosslinking for keratoconus (a progressive corneal thinning condition) in the UAE from 2008 onwards and has presented research on this topic at international conferences.
