Dr. Aaliya Ambereen

Dr. Aaliya Ambereen is a Specialist Ophthalmologist at Aster Hospitals Dubai, with training in both general eye care and specialized retinal conditions. She holds an MS in Ophthalmology and MBBS, with recent fellowship training in cataract surgery and medical retina at M.N. Eye Hospital in Chennai, India.

Dr. Ambereen provides comprehensive eye care including diagnosis and treatment of eyelid problems, infections, corneal conditions, and glaucoma. She performs cataract surgery and uses advanced laser techniques including YAG laser treatment for posterior capsular opacification and iridotomy, as well as laser photocoagulation for retinal conditions. She also administers intravitreal injections for conditions affecting the back of the eye.

She has particular expertise in diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, venous occlusions, and uveitis diagnosis and management. Dr. Ambereen is a member of the Tamil Nadu Ophthalmic Association and All India Ophthalmic Society, and she is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Tamil.
