Dr. Ahmed Alneyadi

Dr. Ahmed Alneyadi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi with 11 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his internship in 2009. After training at Ludwig-Maximilian University Eye Hospital in Munich from 2011 to 2017, he obtained the German Board certification in Ophthalmology (Facharzt). He later achieved European Board of Ophthalmology certification in Paris and completed fellowships in Refractive Surgery and Medical Retina at St. Elisabeth Hospital in Cologne.

Dr. Alneyadi's expertise spans laser vision correction (LASIK, PRK, and advanced techniques), corneal disease and keratoconus management, anterior segment surgery, glaucoma care, and medical retina conditions including diabetic retinopathy. He uses advanced diagnostic imaging such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasound B-scan, and fluorescein angiography, as well as therapeutic lasers including the Pascal Laser System for precise treatment.

As an Emirati national fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Alneyadi is active in the ophthalmology community, serving on scientific committees for major regional conferences and speaking at international congresses. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
