Dr. Feroza Dawood

Dr Feroza Dawood is a British Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She serves as Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Before relocating to the UAE in 2016, she was a consultant at Liverpool Women's Hospital, one of Europe's largest dedicated women's hospitals, where she also held an academic appointment as clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool.

Dr Dawood has deep expertise in managing complex pregnancies and women's health conditions. She specialises in high-risk pregnancy care, including diabetes and thyroid disease in pregnancy, blood clotting disorders (thrombophilia and antiphospholipid syndrome), and epilepsy in pregnancy. She also manages general gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, and menopause. She performs keyhole surgery (hysteroscopy), contraceptive fitting and removal, and cesarean sections. She is recognised internationally as an expert in recurrent miscarriage and has authored nearly 100 academic papers, including publications in leading international journals.

Dr Dawood is fluent in English and conversant in Arabic. She combines evidence-based medicine with a patient-focused, compassionate approach and has received multiple research awards and three clinical excellence awards from the UK NHS. She holds a Master's degree in International Healthcare Leadership and Management from Manchester Business School.
