Dr. Shady Abdelsayed

Dr. Shady Abdelsayed is an Associate Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He brings 22 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with extensive training and practice across Egypt and the Gulf region. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he served as a cardiology specialist at Kuwait's Dabbous Cardiac Centre under the Ministry of Health, and earlier held positions at Egypt's Ministry of Health hospitals.

Dr. Abdelsayed specializes in managing coronary artery disease (blocked heart arteries), high blood pressure, high cholesterol, advanced heart failure, and heart muscle disorders. His clinical focus includes valve disease, irregular heartbeats, and assessment of chest pain. He completed formal residency training in cardiology and holds a Master's degree in Cardiology from Ain Shams University in Cairo, alongside his medical degree from Alexandria University's Faculty of Medicine.

He is well-suited for patients requiring specialist evaluation and long-term management of complex heart conditions, particularly those with multiple cardiovascular risk factors or advanced heart disease.
