Dr. Sameh Fakhry

Dr. Sameh Fakhry is a Consultant in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy who trained at leading academic institutions across the United States, including the University of Southern California, Duke University, and Cleveland Clinic. He holds a Master's degree in Tropical Medicine and a Ph.D. focusing on diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, both from Cairo University. He is currently a visiting consultant at King's College Hospital London (Dubai).

Throughout his career, Dr. Fakhry has performed a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures, with particular expertise in ERCP and managing liver and pancreatic conditions. He combines clinical practice with active teaching of medical students and trainees, supervising advanced research theses in gastroenterology and hepatology. His work has resulted in multiple scientific publications across the specialty.

Dr. Fakhry previously served as a consultant at Abu-Dhabi Police Medical Services, where he received a Gold Medal of Appreciation from the Deputy Prime Minister for his outstanding clinical service. He is an active member of major international gastroenterology and liver disease societies, bringing evidence-based global best practice to his patient care.
