Dr. Sanja Mulabegovic

Dr. Sanja is a consultant paediatrician with 25 years of experience across major paediatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, intensive care units and emergency departments in the United Arab Emirates. She graduated from the Medical University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and completed postgraduate training at leading European institutions: the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (Diploma in Child Health), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of the UK (MRCPCH), and the University of Oxford (Master's degree in Paediatric Infectious Diseases). She is registered with the UK General Medical Council and holds membership in the European Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Sanja treats the full spectrum of paediatric conditions—from newborn and premature infant care, breastfeeding support and vaccination through to adolescent health. She has particular expertise in infectious diseases (common and tropical), respiratory conditions (asthma, bronchitis, chronic cough), dermatology (rashes, eczema, warts, birthmarks), allergy and intolerance testing, growth and weight concerns, and behavioural issues. She also advises on infectious disease risks in pregnancy and neonatal screening. At Al Wasl Hospital she worked in the Bronchial Asthma Respiratory Clinic and received the Employee of the Year Award in 2006.
