Dr. Ved P Goswami

Dr. Ved Parkash Goswami is a UK and USA trained consultant orthopaedic and sports surgeon with over 25 years' experience. He trained in the NHS in the United Kingdom and now practices at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai. He is an expert in joint replacements, keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery, and sports injury treatment across all age groups.

Dr. Goswami specialises in knee surgery—including meniscus repair, cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL and PCL), cartilage replacement, and treatment of arthritis—as well as shoulder surgery (rotator cuff tears, dislocations, impingement) and hip procedures. As a high-volume surgeon, he has performed thousands of knee and hip replacements and arthroscopic reconstructions. He also treats sports injuries of the ankle, elbow, wrist and hand, and offers regenerative therapies such as stem cell and PRP treatment. He uses advanced techniques including robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Goswami founded the Midlands Arthroplasty & Arthroscopic Visiting Fellowship programme, which trains orthopaedic surgeons from around the world. He sits on the editorial boards of international orthopaedic journals and has published in the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery and the International Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma.
