Dr. Jisha Ismail

Dr. Jisha Ismail is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah, with 14 years of dedicated experience in women's health care. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Government Medical College, Thrissur. Before joining Zulekha Hospital, she served as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Government Medical College in Kerala, where she excelled in both clinical practice and academic training.

Dr. Ismail has managed thousands of complex obstetric and gynecological cases, including over 9,000 vaginal deliveries, 6,000 cesarean sections, and more than 5,000 gynecological surgeries. She is highly skilled in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures), vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), breech deliveries, and complex gynecological surgeries. She holds a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and has completed advanced endoscopy training through The Federation of Obstetric & Gynaecological Societies of India.

Dr. Ismail is a strong advocate for natural vaginal delivery and women's rights in childbirth. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, and has contributed extensively to medical knowledge through publications in national and international journals.
