Dr. Khalid Ahmed Almasshadani

Dr Khalid Ahmed Almasshadani is a consultant paediatrician with more than 35 years of clinical experience in child health. He trained at Baghdad College of Medicine and holds postgraduate qualifications including MRCPCH (Parts 1 and 2) and the Iraqi Board in Paediatrics, plus a Diploma in Paediatrics. His career spans Iraq, where he worked in government hospitals and taught at Tikrit College of Medicine, five years in Oman, and 16 years as a consultant paediatrician in a government clinic before joining Mediclinic Al Ain in April 2023.

Dr Almasshadani treats general paediatric cases and specializes in screening and managing blood disorders in children, early tumour detection, and paediatric nutrition. He provides vaccinations, consultation and laboratory investigations, and advises families on children's diet, exercise and preventative health measures. His approach combines clinical expertise with practical guidance on child wellness and disease prevention.
