Dr. Rami Al Ani

Dr. Rami Al Ani is a Pediatrics Consultant at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi with over 12 years of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sharjah, UAE, followed by residency training in pediatrics at institutions in Abu Dhabi and Canada, including an ACGME-accredited program and a Royal College of Physicians of Canada certified residency at Queen's University and Kingston Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Al Ani's clinical practice covers a broad range of pediatric conditions, from routine childhood health issues to complex acute care. He has particular expertise in newborn care, including the management of premature infants, and is experienced in assessing and treating developmental concerns, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and mental health issues in children. He has contributed to hospital protocols, including the development of guidelines for high-flow nasal cannula use in pediatric patients, and holds American Board certification in Medical Quality.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Al Ani is committed to medical education and advocacy. He serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Queen's University and co-founded the Mafraq Pediatric Club and Internationally Trained Physicians in Ontario (ITPO), an advocacy group working to improve healthcare access. His approach prioritizes tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family.
