Dr. Ayesha Rashed AlMheiri

Dr. Ayesha Rashed AlMheiri is a Consultant Paediatric Rheumatologist practising at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi. She completed her medical degree at the University of Sharjah and is Arab Board-certified in Paediatrics. She brings 15 years of experience, the majority spent at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in the UAE, where she progressed through multiple clinical roles to her current position as a consultant. Her advanced training spans the United Kingdom and Ireland, including fellowships in paediatric rheumatology at Children's Health Ireland (RCPI) and Great Ormond Street Hospital London, with particular expertise in childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus.

Dr. Al Mheiri specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex childhood rheumatic diseases, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, childhood-onset lupus, vasculitis, Kawasaki disease, juvenile dermatomyositis, and familial Mediterranean fever.
