Dr. Ajlan Al Zaki

Dr. Ajlan Al Zaki is a Consultant Hematologist and Oncologist at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he directs the Hematology Oncology & Cellular Therapy Center. An Emirati national with 9 years of clinical experience, he combines advanced training in the United States with expertise in cutting-edge cancer treatments. He earned his MD from George Washington University, completed residency in internal medicine at Stanford University, and fellowship in hematology and oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he also held research and teaching roles.

Dr. Al Zaki specializes in treating blood cancers and solid tumours using the latest approaches. His key areas include CAR T-cell therapy (a precision immunotherapy that reprograms immune cells to fight cancer), advanced immunotherapies, leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
