Dr. Lemia Salim

Dr. Lemia Salim is an emergency medicine specialist with over 15 years of clinical and teaching experience across Sudan, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. She is board certified and licensed by the Sudan Medical Council, UAE Ministry of Health, and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi. Her training includes the Egyptian Fellowship in Emergency Medicine and the Arab Diploma in Disaster Management for Health Professionals.

Dr. Salim has worked in leading tertiary hospitals across three countries, providing comprehensive emergency care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior physicians. Her clinical expertise spans acute trauma management, resuscitation techniques, critical care, and major incident response. She is an accredited instructor with the European Resuscitation Council and has trained over 2,000 medical professionals in life support, trauma management, and disaster preparedness. She has also directed multiple national and regional training programs in Sudan and Egypt.

Dr. Salim is committed to advancing patient safety, emergency preparedness, and medical education. She combines hands-on clinical excellence with strong leadership in emergency healthcare systems and is particularly interested in simulation training and quality improvement in emergency services.
