Dr. Samir Rahmani

Dr. Samir Rahmani is a consultant surgeon with over 27 years of experience in general, laparoscopic, bariatric, and gastrointestinal surgery. He earned his medical degree from Baghdad Medical School in 1999 and completed his basic surgical training at Leeds Teaching Hospital in Yorkshire, where he developed core surgical skills across multiple specialties. He further specialized in upper gastrointestinal surgery during his time in South Wales, focusing on complex procedures including stomach and esophageal cancer resections. Dr. Rahmani served as a Consultant Upper GI, Laparoscopic, and General Surgeon at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board before moving to his current practice in Sharjah.

He is known for his innovative, minimally invasive approach to surgery, with particular expertise in weight-loss procedures and gastrointestinal conditions.
